If 88 is like 89, there will be a gaggle of yellow switched 12V wires in the harness and all seem to be spliced on my 89 right in the center of the harness on the firewall. The heavy red wire comes directly from the battery and the second heavy red wire goes to the distributor. The Black wire is the ground. The one spade on the relay that's blank in the pic ended up with keyed 12V. That's the wire that activates the relay. When activated, the relay provides 14V to the HEI.
